Which iPhone do I have?

Planning on selling your iPhone, and unsure what type of iPad you have? Here you can easily and quickly find out which iPhone you have.
Option 1: in the settings
The settings on your phone show which iPhone it is.
- Go to Settings
- Go to General
- Go to About
By ‘Model Name’ you can see which model iPhone it is. It is also possible that there is an A followed by four numbers. In that case, in the list below you can see which iPhone this model number belongs to.
Option 2: on the back of the device (only for older models)
Another way to find out which iPhone you have is to look at the back of the phone. Here you will find a model number that starts with an A, followed by four digits. If you have an iPhone 8 or newer, this model number is no longer on the phone. You can then use the first option.
